If you're looking for a heavy-duty sweatshirt, built for the long haul and all the abuse you can throw at it, this is what you're looking for. Double-stitching throughout for durability, yet while being heavy weight, it's still soft and comfortable. And, if you're a Battlestar Galactica costumer, here's an added bonus: These are virtually identical to the ones used by the flightdeck crew. Can't beat the price and value on these, easily beats Russell Athletic brand that I've worn for years.

I used the sweatshirt to make an original design as a Christmas gift. The shirt was of above-average quality and it was easy to stitch selected pieces of fabric to the shirt without puckering. It was necessary to launder the shirt prior to applying the fabrics. The shirt washed well, maintained the original shape and softness. The young man who received the sweatshirt was delighted with the shirt (and with the original design). He likes "cozy" sweatshirts and this met his definition.
