Amazon.com Product Description This sporty athletic-style sneaker is built tough to keep up with your active boy. It features a comfortable leather upper with a lace-up entry for a secure custom fit. The durable non-marking outsole is traction patterned for reliable grip on just about any terrain, and the "no stink" lining wicks away moisture to keep his feet cool and comfortable.

Good product January 4, 2008 I bought these shoes for my nephew to start school in and this was a good quality product.
Not exactly stylish but good, comfortable shoes December 29, 2007 I ordered these for my son about 2 months ago. We have a difficult time finding shoes that fit properly and don't hurt my son's feet (like most cheap quality shoes do). However, we didn't even have to worry about him "breaking them in" because they were extremely comfortable the first time my son put them on. He wears them to school every day and plays outside and they don't even have the typical cracking normally associated with leather shoes. In my opinion, these aren't exactly the most stylish shoes like Skechers or Adidas' can be, but comfort takes precedence over looks. I would definitely recommend these shoes, especially to parents who have a hard time finding comfortable shoes for their kids.
As for the bad review listed, it's not Amazon or Stride Rite's fault that you can't tell the difference between toddler shoes and boys shoes. These shoes clearly state KIDS, not TODDLER or INFANT. My son is 10 and he wears KIDS 5 W, which is average for his age. I guess you plan on your son's feet being extremely small if you think he can't wear them until he is a teenager. Next time, try paying better attention to what you are ordering instead of leaving bad reviews because of your own ignorance! Or better yet, just buy them in a store!

I was mis-lead by the sizes. I thought I was ordering a TODDLER size > 5 1/2 W. but I recieved a boys size instead..Their WAYYY too big. also the Joe boxer socks. This baby wont be able to wear either one till he s in his teens. Sorry, and I cant see sending them back, as it cost more for shipping than I paid for the stuff. I probably wont order again.
