Good for Price November 23, 2008
Only 2 cons i found were...
1. One Click software is almost pointless.
2. Would be great if it had a firewire or sata connection.
I've seen some people comment about this drive being noisy, i have no complaints. So far working great...love it.

The drive is a great addition to my iMac. It doesn't make itself known except when I have to spin it down or up. It holds my data, runs silently and has worked perfectly.
LaCie 1 TB Hard Drive November 11, 2008
Clean, beautiful, minimalist design. It has become my main photo backup drive, due to it's speedy file transfer. For 1TB, I could not find a better price for the amount of storage. LaCie drive has been very reliable so far.

I purchased this external hd mid September and it crashed beyond repair yesterday. It was being used on a Mac and Disk Warrior was unable to rebuild the directory. It had been turned on exactly 5 times and I was using it as a backup. Buyer beware.
Beautifully designed product November 6, 2008
Ok I know design doesn't really matter, but this sucker is way cool looking if you ask me! I hooked it up to my mac and partitioned it easily. It has been very user friendly. I am however only using it as a giant movie storage device. So i can't comment on how it does many tasks. I bought mine at micro center for 99 dollars. It is super silent. Would definitely recommend!
