2 out of 5 stars Too much fantasy, too little fact   September 14, 2008
I was really looking forward to seeing this film, so maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been. I'd heard bad things about it and I'd heard good things about it. This is supposed to be a film (an almost-documentary) about Indigo children. But, like every other source of Indigo information, this film was little more than New Age hype. I really wish I could say something good about it. It's a nice film, maybe even cute; but a source of solid information it is not. The lead character (a young girl who is a supposed Indigo) is a psychic and possibly even a channeler. (I'm on the edge of my seat already!) She's in constant communication with all the other Indigos on the planet through something called "the web". "The web"? What's that? I've never heard of it. Where'd they get this information, that Indigos are all highly psychic and all in-tune with each other and in constant communication through their own private psychic network? Can I join? Is there a monthly fee? Do I get my palm read as well? I guess I looked into this film hoping to find some information on a possible human phenomenon, but all this film delivers is New Age balderdash. Which is sad, considering there are many people out there who consider themselves Indigos and are really aching to find some accurate information on this possible phenomenon. Not to mention the number of parents who are anxiously wondering about their seemingly autistic yet highly gifted children. The internet is useless for Indigo research, and so is this film. And, of course, the film is really poorly done. The acting is subpar, the dialogue predictable. How this film was ever chosen as "audience favorite" at film festivals is beyond me. (Oh yeah - film festivals are often filled to overflowing with New Agers. That'd be how it happened.) Is there anything good about this film? Sure! Don't go into it expecting Oscar-winning performances and don't expect accurate portrayal of the Indigo phenomenon. Keep you expectations low and this is actually a semi-enjoyable film. In spite of my poor review, I do applaud the film-makers efforts. At least someone is trying to draw attention to this.

4 out of 5 stars "A good movie about Indigo children although not a suitable storyline to watch with you Indigo children"   December 14, 2007
Overall I liked the movie and it did contain some information I didn't know, so I did get something new out of it, however the storyline revolves around the mother of the Indigo girl going to prison after being caught during a drug deal, so I don't think is a movie to watch with your Indigo child, however this could be debatable, since I did watch it with my 10 year old Indigo/diagnosed autistic son (I didn't know what the story was about) and he did watch the whole movie with me, something that in itself is rare, he mostly likes to watch childrens movies, in the beginning of the movie they showed some of the Indigo girl's drawings and there was something in this drawings that got his attention and made him interested in the movie. I think in general you could expect to get some helpful information about Indigo children, unless you already know everything there is to know about this children. I have to add, that there was no drug ussage or violence shown in the movie, there were guns but nobody actually used the guns.

1 out of 5 stars Dumb...   October 20, 2007

...I don't know any better word to describe it. This DVD was just plain dumb. An insult to the intelligence and spirituality of even the "average" person. It completely lacked any sense of spirituality and wisdom. It is completely void of providing any real explanation for this so-called "phenomenon". And, on top of that, it is just made poor...poor story line...poor acting...just plain dumb.

4 out of 5 stars Wonderful   September 11, 2007
Indigo is a wonderful film for our day in these troubled times. I do believe we have special children coming to the earth to help us in these last days.

4 out of 5 stars Good premise, important subject matter   September 9, 2007

Actors were good, subject matter is very timely. It's about time there are people who aren't afraid of the nay-saying masses to bring us films which bring some enlightenment to those of us who are open-minded. The veil is lifting, children are having remarkable experiences all over the world. Films like this one can take all of us a step further to understanding what is really happening to these children, who need our loving and unconditional support, not drugs and humiliation.
