Amazon.com Review Now, the classic books from the library of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry--Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages--are available in hardcover in a sturdy boxed gift set. (These books are written by J.K. Rowling herself under the pseudonyms Newt Scamander and Kennilworthy Whisp.) Finally, Muggles will have the chance to discover where the Quintaped lives, what the Puffskein eats, and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl. The Quidditch textbook explains where the Golden Snitch came from, how the Bludgers came into existence, and why the Wigtown Wanderers have pictures of meat cleavers on their clothes. Both books, designed to look like Harry Potter's actual, used Hogwarts textbooks, feature silly scribblings from Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Proceeds from the sale of this gift set will go to improving and saving the lives of children around the world. Harry Potter fans, rejoice! (All ages)
Product Description When first released to Muggles in March 2001, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Quidditch Through the Ages further enlightened Harry Potter fans about the dangers and delights of the wizarding world. Now these two charming works of non-fiction are available in hardcover -- in a special keepsake slipcase edition!

Fun read January 2, 2009 While it is not a Harry Potter book per say, it is fun to know what kids learn in Hogwarts
Very Clever Books! December 29, 2008 These 2 books are precious. They look worn and beat-up, like they've ridden around in students' "rucksacks" for years. They have "grafitti" written in them by Harry, Ron, and Hermione and dire warnings by Madame Pintz. Even Dumbledore has written (in his long, slanted script) in one of them to clarify things for students (and us Muggles). Just two very cleaver books that are a great accompaniment to the HP novel series.
Ever wonder what the difference was between a Wizard and a Warlock? Or what a bludger was made of? The answers are here!
Must have for Harry Potter fans December 21, 2008 This is a great little set of books. It is a must have for all Harry Potter fans - old & young!!!!
For the ultimate Harry Potter fan November 27, 2008 The Harry Potter School Book Set is a must for every Harry Potter fan. The books are great reads and of course, J.K. is a story teller extrodinaire.
Good Addition To a Harry Potter Collection November 16, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Harry Potter Schoolbooks are written as if they really came from the wizarding world. The box set contains just too books which are around 50-70 pages long each, but include interesting back-story about the world of Harry Potter with respect to beasts and Quidditch. The books are inexpressive and also 20% of the cost should go to charity. I would really like to see more schoolbooks come out now that the seventh book in the series has been written. Half-Blood Prince's Potions book anyone?
