CLASSIC FANTASY January 4, 2009 My only complaint with this incredible series was that the paintings that hung on the walls of Pezinni's ( Yancey Butler's ) supposedly, cultured nemesis ( played wonderfully by Anthony Cistaro ) were so pathetically amateurish- and also, of course, that the series left the air way to soon ( due to Butler's drug bust- networks can be so sanctimonius... ).
This show had it all: great haunted-heroine, excellent action, mystery, fantasy, sci-fi, and superlative CGI special effects- not to mention multi-faceted villains.
Witchblade - the complete series December 27, 2008 This TV series ran on TNT in the summer of 2000. It should have been on a major network. It was an outstanding series, AAA+. Extremely well written and acted and never had reruns. If you like a lot of action and dark things going on you will enjoy it like I have.
WitchBlade-A Cop Comedy? December 23, 2008 The WitchBlade series was based on a comic book and it shows to a large extent. The premis is fanceiful, but to give credit where due, is adhered to in the stories. Generally the special effects are well done for a TV program and the stories are reasonably well done. I found the prologue and the first season episodes to be the best; nicely scripted, well acted and also connected. The second season episodes were more imaginary and delt with some odd incidents in the plots. Unfortunately, the series did not make the third season so the story is left somewhat up in the air. It is an enjoyable series however to pass a couple of otherwise dull winter days.
Great series December 22, 2008 Having never heard of this series and being curious I brought the DVd. It is a fantastic series with lots of action and great characters!
Skip it. December 22, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I found it very hard to sit through ever episode I watched...it was just very boring...alot of action, but no charecter plot really. I only got to the 3rd episode before I gave up on it. Too Boring!
