 GOOD PRODUCT FOR A LOW PRICE! November 13, 2008
I have owned this item for 6 months and so far it does what its suppossed to do: BURN MY CD's & DVD's with good quality. It comes with easy to install instructions and it has worked since the first day. Sure, a bit slow but then again, it's designed for home or small office use.

Sorry, but this would not work with my computer, had to send back, not the products fault, so really can not rate this correctly

This is the first DVD burner that I have ever bought and I love it. It's awesome! Never had any bad burns so far. I haven't tried lightscribe but I will soon. Never knew anything about lightscribe before I saw it here so I was surprised to see it can label CDs and DVDs. And just so you know it can only use the lightscribe feature on lightscribe enabled DVDs. You can't use it on just any DVD. Anyway, I totally recommend this product. It's cheap and you won't regret. :)

I am happy with this product. Installation is fast and burning of DVDs is so quiet. The provided Nero software works perfect with it. Haven't tried lightscribe yet. As the quality of DVDrw,this is an awesome one.

This looks like a great product and, I'm sure it is. If and only if you own a PC. It completely failed to work on my Mac Mini (1.25GHz, G4) and MacBook Pro. If you have a Mac, make sure that the drive explicitly says Mac compatible, it'll cost you more, but it's worth it. I'm very happy now with a refurbed Lacie drive that only cost $10 more.
