I purchased these gloves to add to my work outs. They are great. So much easier than holding traditional dumbbells. The 2 lbs. weights are wonderful.

I got something a little different that was here.
I just got my own pair, and here is my initial impression. First let me say that I almost thought these had gotten lost in transit because the company emailed to review them long before they ever arrived. Without a tracking number, I was in the dark. Still, they did arrive. These are definitely weighted gloves and not wrists. If you wanted to add one of the wrist/ankle weights, they could easily fit right beneath these. Wearing them reminded me of the gloves Ryu and Ken, from Street Fighter, wear. The palm is bare which I think should allow just about any activity you desire. As for size, I would say these are a Male's medium. That's what I would say my hand is, and these fit me like a glove should. Still, the elasticity in the fingers and the Velcro strap around wrist could allow for a size up. The Velcro has enough strap for a smaller wrist then mine, but I cannot guarantee the finger straps would be comfortable.
Overall durability will only tell in time.
The Velcro is strong. It is definitely stronger than the average Velcro. I have seen stronger Velcro, only once of hand, but I think this is strong enough.
While I certainly got what I wanted, and better than what was advertised, I can't give full stars since someone else could order it and get what IS advertised.
The gloves I got are adjustable. As with other similar products, there a little insert able sand bags. There are 3 above the wrist and 2 on the backhand. The wrist weights have their own slots while the backhand weights do not. Still, the two squeeze in there good enough to stay in place, and even if you remove one, it is still balanced.

I bought these gloves about 3 weeks ago to combine with my cardio workout. They don't fit on your hands very well and they constantly move when you are moving. Your hands get sweaty really fast with them on and they are very bulky. If you are not use to wearing weighted gloves while working out I wouldn't recommed these at all.

I upgraded to these when my 1 lb ea. gloves died (or refused to be washed anymore). The design of the glove is the same as my old ones, with the weight on top of your hands; they are heavy and become a little loose after about an hour...but I can't think of a better design that allows your fingers and palms to be free (so you can keep them on when doing pushups). I use them for Turbo Kickboxing and Shadow Boxing classes and love 'em. Biggest difference between the 1 lb and 2 lbs - light arms @ workout end! You feel like you can fly away. After using these for another month, maybe I will.
