I have been purchasing Saucony Hurricanes for years. I am always satisfied with their performance. If you are looking for a good stability shoe, these the are ones you want.

My son preferred the Saucony Hurricane 8 running shoes over other shoes he had tried until he realized that the outer heel material was rather soft and caused his leg to twist.
As far as "If the Shoe Fits" goes, this order was messed up. I order three pairs of shoes, they shipped one and said they shipped three. My only other order with them was filled correctly and promptly.

I bought these sneakers for my husband - he is a true runner. we usually get them at the sneaker store near us - but this price is so much better! It's the exact same sneaker, but $40 less. he is a heavy runner, and this sneaker holds up great for him.

the company was very kind in allowing me to return the shoes-- nonetheless, I wouldnt have had to return them if I had read "all the fine print" about the 'closeouts' running 1/2 size too small. I take responsibility for not reading the fine print, but I am ordering shoes, not closing on a house or something! It would be better for all parties, including seller, if the seller put the Size disparity in the headlines (or at least put an asterisk next to the price or size).

I used to run full length marathons. I fell in love with Saucony's Grid system, as I am larger than many runners. It seemed to offer the most cushion. Not to bad-mouth other companies, but to put these on after wearing another brand shows it is a no-brainer. Walking on air is how it feels to me.
