Good Value November 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My 8 yo daughter wanted a tumbling mat for her birthday. I ordered this hoping it would be suitable. It is very nice. It's nice and thick but I think the best thing about it is how easy it is to pick up and put away. It has handles on the side and you just fold it and can slide it behind something.
For tumbling it is a little small but it does measure the full 72" by 24" advertised.
Good value October 31, 2008 This mat was $30 when I bought it, and is more comfortable and durable than most mats of comparable price. It's not the best I've ever used, but it's definitely one of the better ones.

Like some other reviewers mentioned already, the mat is very comfortable. It's also easy to store once it's folded.
good thick mat at good price October 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good, thick and relatively inexpensive (forty bucks) mat. I have back problems and needed a comfortable thick mat to use for stretching and back and ab exercises. Other type (Pilates)mats are too thin and uncomfortable to use, especially when you have back pain. This mat is comfortable to use. The covering seems like it could be a little snugger but other than that it appears to be well made with stitched seems. thumbs up!
Outstanding, well designed product October 13, 2008 I'm 63 y/o and have to do a variety of physical therapy exercises involving a MAT. My muscles are brittle and bones ache most of the time. The Everlast Folding mat is a perfect product for me at home.
It is THICK enough to absorb the difference between a wooden floor and my sensitive bones. It is FIRM enough to support my back when I'm doing leg lifts etc. Having just ONE fold gives it a consistent smooth surface.
The material seems tough and doesn't have a "rubbery" smell or feel to it. Carrying handles are convenient and it stores easily under my bed.
The SIZE is ideal too. I'm 6'2" and weigh 225 lbs. I can lie comfortably flat on my back without feeling cheated. I can lie on my side and have plenty of length.
*I have owned 2-3 other types of mats designed for yoga or mat-type exercise. They all had shortcomings... TOO thin, TOO hard, tendency to ROLL up while in use, smells like an auto tire etc. Not any easier to store than the Everlast.*
It's an excellent product, worth every penny!
