 Thicker mat than most October 6, 2008
I've never purchased a fitness mat before so I really didn't know what to expect. I read the positive reviews for this product and decided to give it a try. When I used it during my fitness class, I looked around the room and realize how thin other mats usually are. This mat is about 3 or 4 times thicker than traditional yoga mats and gives great support and comfort. It's a great size and easy to tote around because of the strap. Great product!

Great color, great feel, great value!
I use my pink mat for yoga class, and I'm completely comfortable on the hardwood floors. I totally appreciate the elastic carry strap that was included!
Comporable mats sold at retail stores, go for $50. This one's SO worth it!

This mat is great for the back and the knees -- I had a yoga mat that I was using for my body strength class. Since we are exercising on marble floors, it makes it very difficult to be on the floor without proper padding. This Danskin Deluxe Fitness mat is just what I needed -- it is cushy enough to be able to do the exercises without any pain!
Great piece of equipment May 2, 2008
I have really enjoyed this exercise mat. It is nice and thick, and one feature that I particularly like is that the carrying straps come off when you unroll the mat--I bought my boyfriend one whose straps don't come off and it looks annoying. And people are right--the mat is definitely not hot pink, but a deeper color... maybe magenta. I good, basic, agreeable excercise mat.

The mat is okay, but I've seen better ones out there. I wish I knew before I bought it that it does not have velcro straps to hold the mat closed....instead it has this loose piece that you're supposed to carry around to put on the mat after you roll it up to keep it closed. That's a pain.
