saucony's cohesion review August 13, 2008 very solid, soft, running shoe, that can be used for walking as well; I actually use it also to play tennis in it, and it serves its purpose there as well; the only negative is its a bit too narrow front foot that might give you a bit of unwanted pressure.... Provides great value for the price/function relationship.
Better than I expected May 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not a top of the line running shoe, but that is not what I was shopping for at the time. If you are looking for a good quality, affordable, running shoe that has a wide enough toe box (I have a wide foot) and can also serve as a reliable cross-trainer (I have played a lot of basketball in these shoes already), then this is a great shoe. I recommend an insert with some arch support, but I put those in all my athletic shoes except for Asics. I would not run any distance over 3 miles with these shoes, but I am pretty specific when it comes to distance running and really prefer Asics. This shoe is great for just running around during the day for errands, going to the gym, playing some sports, and jogging short distances. It is very stable and I have not even come close to turning an ankle while playing a variety of sports.
GReat shoe @ good price May 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased for my son (14). This is his second pair at his request. Just about the only thing he wants on his feet. They could use a better arch support (I replaced the originals with Dr.S supports)
Not the best pair of Saucony shoes I've had. April 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these because I had the Saucony Grid Propel before and it was the best running shoe I've ever bought. After I wore them out running I wore them to work (I work in a hospital so I'm on my feet all day.) I'm not adverse to spending more than 100 on shoes, and the grid propel's rocked.
I bought these just to walk around work in, but even for that they lack the cushioning and support I'd like. They are very breathable, which is good unless you walk in any sort of rain or water as they will soak your socks immediately. Of course you can't have it both ways.
If you're thinking of getting these, I'd keep looking.
A high quality running shoe that ALSO happens to look great! February 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Most running shoes are really ugly. It is that simple. Why can't people be healthy and look good while they work at it?
These sleek, solid black running shoes not only provide good cushioning and support at a great price. They also, for anyone who is remotely fashion-conscious, take the shame out of running.
