Good but not as solid as expected October 27, 2008 This is a very useful machine. I'm using it frequently and I'm impressed on how it helps me improve my fitness. I wish it were a bit more solid. It does squeal when doing leg raises since the base assembly is not as sturdy. Just a little play and the base makes noises when torsion is applied. Aside from that, I recommend this as a must have.
all things considered, still worth the price August 8, 2008 There were no written instructions, just a picture diagram, without any suggested order or sequencing. It takes quite a while to assemble. The worst thing is that the grips for the push up bars do not fit, cannot be pulled on, and had to be cut to get them on. It is heavy, so it arrived scratched in places, with a damaged box. Even though the touch-up paint will cover the scratches, they are visible. However, for the price, it is a nice piece for a home gym. It rocks a bit, but doesn't feel unstable, when doing chin ups. We will still put it to good use.

The Powerline PVC83 is a well engineered and solid built exercising equipment. It can support a person weight up to 250 pounds, while feeling sturdy. The Powerline is more expensive than others, but worth the price. In addition, the company provides you touch-up paint for nicks and scuffs.
The only negative comment is the assembly instructions. You get a picture diagram of how to assemble the machine. It took me 45min to 1 hour.
