This is just a short review. Early reviews by others are correct. I just want to put in my recommendation because the quality of these bars is phenomenal. Although they are very expensive they are not overpriced.

Normally, I locate good products based on positive reviews from others but this time around it was not quite as straightforward. Unfortunately, due to the lack of reviews on this product, I have put off purchasing a pair of these for a good few months now, which I truly regret. Luckily, I could not get the product photos out of my head as they looked better than anything else I had stumbled across before.
So, I had to resort to a little research project prior to purchasing them. I decided to contact a number of Ebay customers in order to gain a view on whether these were worth the money. I can say that everyone wrote back with glowing feedback, so I went ahead and purchased a pair myself.
Previously, I have owned two pairs of 'Perfect Pushups' that cost $29.95 each (plus shipping). Within 2-3 months of owning them, the ball bearings began to blow out, which created a negative resistance that actually made them easier to use, opposed to harder. At first they were okay (nothing in comparison to these) but after using them twice a day, five times a week, they quickly began to wear out.
I received my MegaPex Elite's around three weeks ago now and have to say that when I opened up the box, my jaw dropped as they are so appealing to the eyes.
First of all, these are of a commercial grade quality and can only be described as something you would expect to find in your local gym. Secondly, they are ever so comfortable. Initially, I was concerned about them being manufactured out of aircraft aluminium but they are actually much more comfortable then anything I have used before.
Pros:
Sturdy build - Made entirely from aircraft aluminium
Sleek design - Appealing to the eyes
Incredibly comfortable - Shaped to fit the palms of your hands
Smooth rotation - Machine grade ball bearings that are silent
Weight - Each handle weighs 2.5 kilos
Bottom treads - Will not slip during your workouts

Finally, I know this sounds lame, but if Ferrari were to design a pair of these, they would look identical to the ones here. Anyone reading this that has previously purchased a pair will understand where I am coming from.
As indicated above, my only regret is that I did not purchase these sooner, but, oh well, better late than never!

I have tried the "perfect pushups" and let me tell you that they are far from perfect! The whole point of rotating pushup handles is so that your arms have to "fight" the rotation on top of the fact that you also want to rotate them. With the perfect pushups they rotated only if I physically did so. With The MegaPex, the rotation is silky smooth even with over 100 additional pounds added (via a weight vest) to my 230 lbs frame. They really make you work extra hard for each pushup!
The build quality is also superior to the competition! I first thought that not having any rubber on the handles would pose a grip problem, but boy was I wrong! When I used the perfect pushups my hands would start to sweat resulting in a weaker grip. For some reason with the Elite's, this just doesn't happen. No matter how hard I workout and sweat, I can always maintain a tight grip. Even the comfort of the handle is much better. They make you feel like your holding a high quality dumbbell. The company serious fitness (that distributes this product) has great customer service and included a lifetime warranty for the Pushup handles. If you want to take your pushup workouts to an other level, then I defiantly recommend this product!
