good walking shoes July 24, 2010 heidyho good walking shoe. Cons: not as supportive as i would like and for 100 dollars i sure would like a complete leather shoe, not half. Pros: very comfortable. I go through a pair of walking shoes about every three months and comfort makes the difference. If they were more supportive, i'd get 6 months as i walk between 95 to 110 miles a month.
Great, but not as comfortable as expected July 16, 2010 Tammy (Cambridge, MA) I tried on Reebok Easytones twice before buying them. I was amazed at how comfortable they were and how much they helped my posture.
I got them mainly to help my lower back and knees. They definitely help my lower back, and I'm unsure about the knees. I wear them in lab during the day when I'm on my feet a lot, and I wore them in Disney World with a lot of walking.
The slightly disappointing thing is that they're not as comfortable as I expected. Maybe I didn't try them on for long enough to tell in the store, or maybe because they're the Reeinspire as opposed to Inspire, but they kinda hurt my heels. I can't wear them all day. They help my posture but not my feet.
Amazing! :) July 15, 2010 Sury711 So, I looked up reviews on these shoes before I bought them, and was pretty skeptical. When I first put them on, I was upset because the shoes are really narrow and tight, and I'm pregnant, so my feet are a little wider than normal. The first four hours of wearing the shoes my feet were ridiculously sore because of the tightness. But, as soon as the shoes were off, I felt fine.
Second day of wearing the shoes, I LOVED them! The shoes give amazing balance; so much so, that I even lost the pregnant waddle while wearing them!! Honestly, they made me want to walk around the store instead of take the wheelchair around. The narrowness was not nearly as big of a problem. However, after a few hours, it did begin to feel tight, but that could be because of the pregnancy.
Since I've only had them for a few days, I don't know about the "toning" of the legs, but I've read other reviews stating that it tones more of the ankle and calf-area than the thigh/butt area. But, I give them a 5/5 because they are really awesome, and they are very worth the high price tag. They provide such great balance, and even make you feel a little bit more energized. :) Highly recommend!
My sister loves them July 11, 2010 Alberto Dominguez (Bogotá DC, Colombia) It was a gift for my sister. She just love them. Not sure if these do what the commercial says, but it was a nice gift. :-)
Great sneaker! July 3, 2010 Michele C. (Seattle, WA) I have had these for about a month now. I wore them for an hour or less for the first two days, and felt sore in my legs in places I never felt sore outside of a workout before. Since I started regular workouts about the same time, I don't really know how well the shoes tone my legs, but that's not even the main reason I bought them... I bought them to help ease my back/hip pain, and they certainly have done that. I also think they have ruined me for other sneakers. I put my old ones on for a workout when the Easytones were new, and I came home and threw them out. You can't beat the comfort of Easytones!
