 | Tighten and Tone with Reebok EasyTone What are Reebok EasyTone shoes? Reebok EasyTone shoes help tone key leg muscles with every step you take. They're well-designed, stylish training shoes that you'll wear everywhere you go. How do EasyTone shoes work? Balance pods are built-in under the heel and forefoot of the shoes. The balance pods are designed to create natural micro-instability with every step, forcing key leg and glute muscles to adapt, and encouraging toning. You'll truly feel the difference. | Reebok EasyTone Balance Pods act like Stability Balls under your feet | When would I wear EasyTone shoes? EasyTone shoes are designed with style in mind, so they can be worn during normal day-to-day activities - from work, to school, to shopping - and everything you would normally do in a day. They help tone key leg muscles, and they look great. What muscles do EasyTone shoes tone? Your legs and butt. Anatomically speaking, targeted areas include key muscles in the gluteus maximus, hamstrings, and calves.
| Reebok EasyTone shoes increase muscle activity in the gluteus maximus by 28%, and by 11% in the hamstrings and calves | | |
Amazon.com Product Description Take the gym with you, workout at work or while you run errands. Built on Reebok’s patented muscle-toning sole technology, the EasyTone Trend creates a slight instability, much like walking on sand, which encourages increased muscle activation in three key areas of the leg: the gluteus maximus, hamstrings and calves. Up to 28%, in fact.

I've had these shoes about a month. I haven't seen any of the defective issues I've seen in other reviews of this product. The shoes are nice, look good with jeans and so far haven't fallen apart. I definitely feel a little sore after wearing them, so I can only hope they're working. I can't vouch that they work, but in the very least if nothing else you get a good pair of sneakers out of the deal. I think the design of the shoes helps work your muscles, which is good, but I haven't seen any noticeable difference yet. I liked the shoes so much I bought the sandal version. I guess time will tell. I would recommend these to friends!

i did't like this sneaker. I had a hard time getting foot into shoe. Tongue was sewn down, which made opening small not able to make it bigger to slid foot in. made sock bunch up at heel.

Despite what others wrote, I wanted to try these shoes. I am not a fan of what the other easytone shoes looked like, and this style was ok to me. I opened the box, and loved them. I went to the track the first time with them, and after a mile, I could really feel the difference in my legs. My hamstrings were so tight, and my calves were shaking. The next day, I walked on the tredmill. It was just the same. My legs where like jello the next day.
Once you get these shoes on, you feel like you are walking on memory foam. They are very soft on the feet, and you wouldn't know that you have shoes on. I do have wider feet, so I ordered them a half size to big. I usually wear a 8.5 9, and I got a 9.5. They fit great. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars was cause they are not exactly true to their size.
Its been a month or so now, and they are still going great. I can see how they are working on my legs and butt. I would recommend these shoes to anyone that asked about them.
Awful February 8, 2010 Shan 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
They were so tight, I could barely get them on.
Then one of the loops that holds the laces broke when I tried to tie them.
And they were really uncomfortable to walk in.
broke in the first week January 19, 2010 B. Hansen (SD, USA) 28 out of 29 found this review helpful
I bought these shoes thinking they were really good quality and would help me tone up. The way that the eyelets are set up on these shoes, they break really easily. I have broken 3 already and I have only had them for a week. I haven't even been hard on them. I put them on and go shopping or go to work. No running or jumping, nothing that should have made them break. This is an terrible design. Plus reebok doesn't warranty them so I am stuck with a [...] pair of shoes that I can't use because the eyelet broke and there is no way to fix them. The eyelets for these shoes are just string sown into the sides of the shoes. They break really really easily. Don't Buy!!!!
