Product Description Push Ups are a great way to develop your upper body strength. The muscle groups that are primarily used are the Pectorals (Chest) and Triceps (Back of Arms). The GoFit Push Up Stands allow for a greater range of motion, giving you better and more efficient development of these muscle groups. The nice thing about Push Ups is that you can do them virtually anywhere.

They do what they're designed to do, and they do it well. October 6, 2008 Title says it all. These WILL increase the intensity of your pushups. I can currently do about 30 old-school standard push-ups non-stop. With the bars, I can do about 12.
Only minor defect is that they flex slightly (maybe 1/8") under my 5'11" 186 lb frame, only noticeable initially after putting my weight on them. That said, they remain solid and stable throughout the workout.
They are very light, and can be taken apart and packed easily.
Note: I'm using these in my dorm room, which has a smooth floor similar to what you'd find in most Walmarts/grocery stores etc. Using them on a carpet or other surface with more traction may very well eliminate the flexing issue.
Good value, may be better out there... July 21, 2008 These are a good value for the money and should do the trick to improve your workouts. They really help take the strain off the wrists and are easy to put together and take apart for travel. However, I also own the Valeo ones and they are much better as far as sturdiness and are slightly angled toward the ground, allowing for more comfortable movement.
Good value April 5, 2008 These are just what I wanted. Even though they are plastic, they preform well. Lightweight plastic means they also travel well. Good buy.
push-up bars February 16, 2008 This is a basic, but good product. Essentially, it is a hardened molded plastic with foam pieces over the grips where your hands will be placed. If you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, or CTS symptoms, this will certainly help with your push-up routine while minimizing the chance of exacerbating any wrist related pathology. For the price, you can't go wrong.
Sturdier than I expected them February 8, 2008 They're pretty sturdy (they don't feel unstable at all) and I love the fact that they're detachable, in case I decide to move them around in tiny spaces a lot. The handles are very comfortable too. Great for regular push-ups as well as chest push-ups (just twist the bars around).
