Love Em October 11, 2008 Escellent product-love the fact that there's no bpa. Insulation does tend to keep things cold or hot. Only drawback is the I haven't been able to unscrew the mouthpiece, though haven't tried real hard yet.
Keeps it cold! October 9, 2008 While I have only used this bottle on a couple of rides it works really well. I fill it halfway with whatever liquid I am going to take and put it in the freezer till that is froze. then I fill it the rest of the way with the same liquid and it stays cold for a long time. If you are in the market for a water bottle this is the one to buy.
Great Water Bottle September 30, 2008 The Polar Insulated Water Bottle is by far the best water bottle I've used. On hot days, it keeps drinks cool throughout the ride. We don't even think about using other water bottles anymore.
keeps cold, but a little frustrating September 23, 2008 I bought these for my kids because they are PBA free and my kids go through a ton of water, especially for soccer. They do keep the water cold even in a hot car, but in order to get more than a tiny sip, you have to unscrew the top.
There is no air release to the valve like I've had with other water bottles, so even the smallest sip causes a lot of back suction. I find the pop-top part useless, which is a large part of the reason I wanted these for the kids over screw-top designs.
I stay hydrated now September 20, 2008 I started an XBiking Class and work out with a trainer now. She recommended more hydration than what I was doing, AND during workouts. Bottle size is good to fit in the bike's bottle holder and fits good in my car as well. Got a few of these bottles, pre-fill them and stick them in the 'fridge. Works out great. Also a convenient bottle that works well when I'm coaching little league soccer with the foil insert, it helps keep the bottle cooler when it's sitting in the hot sun during soccer or on a non-shady track when I'm running laps. Wide enough lip to get ice cubes in, so that helps keep water cooler for those long workouts.
Great product.
