Junk November 19, 2008 I bought this for a new garmin 750 I just purchased. It will hold the 750 fine but it is not large enough to hold the GPS and the charger cord without damaging the GPS unit. There is absolutly NO padding in this case and no Screen protector flap. You cannot open the case fully as there are straps which only allow the case to open a quarter of the way. Once you put the GPS in the section with the webbing the charger would go in the other section and smash against the LCD screen. If you put it the other way around and face the LCD to the bottom of the case the GPS may fall out when you open the case since there is nothing to secure it.
I saw a larger and nice case at a big box store with the initials BB that looks bigger and will accomodate both the charger and the GPS. This is not a fit in your pocket case, but I didnt expect that. So if I am going to have a larger case I want one that will hold all the accesories.
Great case November 13, 2008 I bought 2 of these for my GPS systems. They fit nice and snug, and are of the best quality. Do not believe those who say they are not good quality. I think they are well worth the money, unless you want to pay $30 for one in a retail store, and sometimes those are not even as nice as this one is.
A Case Too Large September 22, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased the case for my new Magellan 1412 4.3 GPS. The unit fits fine in the case but the case is way too thick for it's intended purpose. The GPS is small enough to travel in your shirt pocket but not when placed in the case.
The 'hard' shell case is not really hard. It is cardboard.
I am disappointed with the case quality. I'd value the product at about five bucks.
Sturdy carrier with extra room to spare August 29, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
OK, I thought this was going to be a smaller package but this carrier has more space than I was looking for. It is sturdy, and it has a mesh partition where the unit can slide into to keep it in place. This though helpful to store the unit, it is a bit challenging to remove the unit quickly. Yes, I may be overreacting here but I just feel it is so.
The case will hold the unit and the charge cable comfortably if you're using the TTN cable from Garmin. The MSN cable has a larger head and you have to play with it to make it fit. Also note, take caution to place the unit in the mesh compartment with the screen facing the wall of the case and the back of the gps facing the power chord.
Other than that, I feel it's a good case and I do like the carry strap as it swivels 360* so it doesn't get tangled up.
Good hard shell case, no padding July 18, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This case fits my Garmin nuvi 260W with room to spare at the top. The hard outer shell is well constructed, but no padding inside. A side mesh pocket holds the gps in place and a cleaning cloth is included. There are 2 elastic bands that keep the case from opening fully, but they are designed to keep the gps from sliding out the sides.
The case arrives wrapped in plastic, and the carry strap and cleaning cloth are held in place by a plastic tie which must be cut to use.
