Door Rack Okay with your own anchors September 29, 2008 This is an inexpensive rack that adds storage space to a closet door. Unfortunately, the hollow wall/door anchors provided are pretty useless because they have no lip and fall inside the door when driving a screw. If you have your own "red heads" or similar anchor, it is a good product for the price.
Pantry Door Rack review September 22, 2008 Overall, now thqt the rack has been up a month, I am happy with it.
When I pulled the PLASTIC rails out of the box, I groaned thinking this was just going to be a cheap fall-apart item. However, the plastic rails have held up well under full load and when it came time to trim them off to fit my needs, they cut easily with a box knife.
The only disappointment I had was with the hollow wall anchors that came with it. They are the cheapest and poorest designed anchors I have ever seen. Save yourself a bunch of heartache and get some good hollow wall anchors at your local hardware store when mounting this rack.
Great for Toys September 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Do you think you don't have enough space in your pantry or cabinets? Well, this is a nifty solution. This adjustable door rack increases shelf space with out decreasing cabinet space. It can store a variety of things without ever looking cluttered or over packed. This is a very useful product that I have set up in my daughter's closet door and it works a treat. I recommend it to all especially if you have small children, what a nice way to store toys. It's sturdy and is holding up very well for how long my girls have been using and abusing it.
Adjustable door rack needs some work. April 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
In order to install this product, I had to purchase different anchors and screws. The ones provided would not work on a hollow core wood door. (Not sure where else one would install this type of rack) The ones provided had two flaws: 1) there was a "wing" which protruded on each side of the anchor, which just tore up the wood and 2) there was no "lip" on the anchor, so when it was pounded into place, it fell through the hollow core of the door. After investing an additional $10 at the hardware store, the installation went great. When I began to place items on the rack, I found that the open ends also created a problem, as small items fell off. I solved this one by going to the 99 cent store and purchasing small bins to fit on the shelves. You could solve this one in manufacturing by running a wire across the middle of each rack, wrapping it around the sides. However, I love my new storage space.
24 inch rack is cheaply made April 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
All though I still get a lot of storage out of this rack, I limit it to only light items. As some of the other reviews have stated, the product is some what flimsy and cheaply made.
