Amazon.com Review After the warm sun sets and the evening turns cool, linger in the backyard in comfort beside the Corona Outdoor Fireplace from Veranda. The classical bulb-shaped fireplace features fine wire mesh screens and clear siding for a 360-degree view of the fire. Warm and bright, the outdoor fireplace offers a great centerpiece at a small party or barbecue. Veranda crafted the fireplace with a heavy-duty steel base to support the weight and resist the heat from burning logs or charcoal briquettes. Designer embossing adorns the cast-iron bowl and top, creating an artisan touch for outdoor décor. A log grate is also provided to enhance safety while assisting with cleaning the fireplace. To add extra firewood, users access the fireplace's sliding door. The slender chimney includes a rain cup to keep water out during wet weather. While the elevation reduces the risk of grass fires, close fire supervision is always advisable. Some assembly is required. The fireplace stands 35 inches high and weighs 35 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

OMG nothing fits!!!!!!!!!!!!! November 29, 2008 I've been at this thing for the last 2 hours and nothing fits.........I'm sure I'll love it after I Mickey Mouse the pieces....what a pain in the [...]!!!!!!!!!!!
Outdoor Fireplace October 16, 2008 I purchased this product to use outback on my patio. I chose it due to other reviews I've read. What drew me to it was it's small size. The iron stove is of very nice quality, a bit difficult to assemble, however if you know how to put things together you really dont need the instructions. It's small size is attractive and not over powering like some of the taller ones I've seen. The only draw back is the lack of heat it gives off. Apparently it all goes up the chimney. I wanted to be able to sit a distance from it, maybe 5 - 6 feet away but no, we sit right up on it in the evening. I cover it so it does not rust. We like it and sit outside with it's romantic glow.
Very nice - perfect size June 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this for my dad for father's day, he has an old burn barrel that he burns papers in that my mom hates, so I bought him this to have on the deck. It matched their wrought iron crome-ish patio furniture perfectly, and it seems like the perfect size for them. Definitely not huge, but perfect for creating atosmphere...It was not difficult to put together, but it was easier for two of us (one holding the thing while the other was installing the bolts). I really want one of my own now!
rusts fast April 26, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I loved it for the first three weeks. Then the legs fell off as they rusted out before the first month was over. Granted I did not have it covered but rusted out within a month? Do not buy unless you are goig through the hassle of covering.

On the whole, this is a good product. It is compact, reasonably lightweight while still robust and gives off good heat. It was slightly awkward to fit together (although I expected this from other reviews) but nothing that couldn't be overcome by adjusting the fasteners before final tightening.
