better than expected November 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
warned my husband, when giving him this gift, that it may not be for sitting, only for reclining. Not true! He's able to sit, recline and another great feature is, it folds up nicely, weighs next to nothing and can be taken anywhere for complete 'zero gravity' comfort. Great gift at a great price.
Has design issues... November 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Strathwood makes a version of these comfortable chairs but they tweaked the original version in ways that make it difficult to love. First, I have to really push back on it to get it to recline, second, one of the arm-rest locks does not lock and the other is difficult to lock and finally the head cushion is attached with thin elastic that will stretch and slide down within weeks (I drilled and screwed mine in place). Best bet: buy one you can test in a store, often they are cheaper.
It is worth the price. November 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is value for your money. The chair is very comfortable and reclines as expected. The only problem was it came without instructions. The shipping box looked like it had to fight a cyclone. You have to look for the small circular ring under the armrest to adjust the recliner and lock it by lifting it up when the desired position is attained. Not as great as the 300$ recliners. But definitely worth 60$.
Comfortable...for the cost. November 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just remember, you get what you pay for. Although this is a nice chair, I have seen better. It seems to recline slightly further than other 0-gravity chairs which was kind of odd. I will consider a slightly more expensive model next time. Otherwise...this product is OK.
