Product Description Sanus Platinum Furniture Flat Panel TV Stand can hold 30-50 inch flat panel TVs with a weight capacity of 130 pounds. The top glass shelf is adjustable and has a capacity of 50 pounds.
Amazon.com Product Description Stylishly industrial, the Sanus Systems PFFP2B flat panel television stand securely holds your LCD or plasma television in place while also allowing it to tilt up and down for optimal viewing angles. It has a VESA compatible mounting bracket at the top that will accommodate the VESA 50, 75, 100, 200mm x 200mm and 200mm x 100mm mounting hole patterns. Once the TV is secured to the bracket, you can adjust the TV's angle by 12 degrees either up or down. The mounting bracket can hold TVs weighing up to 130 pounds (screens from 30 to 50 inches). It features two adjustable, tempered glass shelves. With the TV bracket mounted in the highest position, you can move the adjustable shelves up and down within a range of approximately 2.5 feet. The top shelf measures 24.25 x 16.5 inches and the middle shelf measures 30.25 x 16.5 inches, and each can hold up to 50 pounds. The base shelf measures 43.25 x 23.5 inches for a steady footing. Audio/video cables can be concealed in the stand's pillar, so your setup has a clean, uncluttered look. Assembly required What's in the Box Mounting bracket, base, pillar, two glass shelves, hardware

I think it's expensive October 14, 2008 The box was broken when I received it. Didn't come with any instruction to put them together. The plastic cap was also broken. I think it's expensive. The reason I bought it because I like the way it looks and I couldn't find it any where else at the time.
Just The Right Size Of My Bedroom October 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the stand to go with my Sony 40" KDL-40W4100. It is a perfect fit for my tv, components and room size. The stand was easy to assemble, sturdy and made with quality material. Along with my tv, I have my playstation 3 on the first shelf, my directv reciever on the second shelf and my HTPC (Home Theater PC) and battery backup surge protector on the bottom shelf. They are all a perfect fit without looking cluttered. I would buy again.
It's OK October 4, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I originally bought this stand on Crutchfield approx 1 year ago for a 46 inch LCD. It worked OK, the wire management system is nothing to write home about. I found the tunnel bored thru the middle of the support shaft is too narrow, making the task of feeding cables nearly impossible, especially power cables (the male ends are too big for it).
Well...I have graduated to more sophisticated furniture, and I thought I would use this stand for my 32 inch LCD that I use in my office. The stand is too big for it. The brackets that hold the TV to the stand cover the inputs for my audio inputs.
It's a shame. Now I'm stuck with an ugly TV stand that won't work with my TV.
Stylish, strong, customizable, excellent customer service! What's not to love? October 3, 2008 Among TV stands, the Sanus is truly a class act. The tinted safety glass shelves are shaped in subtle curved rectangles to match the lacquered MDF base, and come in stylish gradations of size. Their brackets are solid and their positioning is highly customizable, easy to change and set at any height, and so able to accommodate the oddest sizes of hi-fi gear. The central metal post continues the theme of solidity and quality, heavy and strong and finished in a texture that would hide any accidental bumps and knocks. The TV brackets are very strong and secure, with multiple fixture points and an inventive hook system that again allows for easy change of position and flexible positioning. Like any mirror-smooth lacquer finish, the base might show signs of knocks and bumps (if you're the odd sort who treats high-end gear that roughly), but if you need to replace the base, or (as I did) want a third shelf, shelves and bases are very easy to mail-order from the manufacturer at a reasonable price. I hadn't heard of Sanus before I bought this stand, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Sanus Flat Panel TV Stand September 19, 2008 This stand looks great and works as stated. It took 2 men 1 hour to put together and hang my 50" Plasma TV. The TV weighs 100 lbs and it holds up very well and its sturdy too. If you need the extra shelf thats available you will need to order it with the stand. To add it later you will have to take the TV off and remove the shelves and start over with the additional shelf.
