 Chocolate lover's fantasy September 4, 2008
After reading other reviews (especially those by caterers) I decided to purchase this chocolate fountain. First time we used it we had 21 High School girls @ the house for a party! Whew! They were pretty much blown away!
It was very easy to set up - I followed the directions - and even easier to clean! I elected to do this by hand (even though it says you can do it in the top rack of the dishwasher). It was easy to clean - almost like a "silverstone" coating on many of the parts.
Once I started melting the chocolate (in the microwave) in batches I poured them into the bottom of the fountain and voila! It flowed for over 2 hours straight, until I turned it off, without a hitch! I would highly recommend this particular machine - worked like a champ - plan to use it for dessert @ our next Bunco!!!

This is a good fountain for the price. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It is a little bit noisy, but certainly not loud enough for it to be a major draw back.
HUGE HIT at every party!
I would definately recommend this product. It is a great value. Your guests will get a real kick out of this! Loads of fun.
 Bad Customer Service by this company June 23, 2008
Got the product, and when it is turned on, it makes a very loud noise. When I tried contacting the company to get an RA number, I was first disconnected, and then connected to another customer also trying to return a product. I called back several more times, only to be disconnected after waiting 15 minutes or so on hold. I tried contacting them by email, only to be told to call the phone number I had been calling repeatedly for over 2 hours.
I don't know if the product does work, and it is just this one that is defective, but after my experience with this company, I'm not sure I really want to find out.
Fabulous Fountain June 16, 2008
Purchased this product for a recognition lunch for our team and this just topped off the event adding that extra something. It was a big hit, we used the liquid chocolate so we wouldn't have to mess with making our own, we don't have a stove in our office kitchen. This was easy to assemble and it was not bad to clean up. The chocolate we used was very tasty, we had fresh fruit, pound cake, and pretzels for dipping. The machine definitely has to be on a sturdy table so it doesn't wobble and we found it was a little noisey but more of a constant hummmm. Great product, very pleased and looking forward to using this again.
Amazing! May 28, 2008
I ordered this product about two months before the planned graduation celebration. Luckily we discovered that the auger was missing from the box in time to get the unit replaced from the company. They we're extremely responsive and helpful in sending us the missing parts.
We ordered the liquid chocolate, and used about 4 - 5 lbs of it for the graduation party. The fountain worked like a charm. It was so cool. Our guests loved it. My daughter even took the remaining chocolate and the entire fountain to her after graduation party.
The chocolate does tend to become a little thick after few hours of use, and the fountain will stop working. The clean-up is a glorious chocolate mess, but even so, this is a must have item! This product is great. We could not be more pleased.
