5 out of 5 stars my favorite   December 1, 2008
I have tried several of the Dr. McDougall soups and this is my favorite. It is very tasteful and filling. I like to add the boiling water and leave the soup stewing for 20-30 minutes since I don't like my noodles al dente. (I believe the directions say wait three minutes.)

I'm with the other bad review, the flavor is just not good. Good ingredients or not, flavor sucked.

4 out of 5 stars Not like fresh food, but still great.   October 27, 2008

These McDougall soups aren't like home-made fresh soups of course, but their taste is not bad! The Ramen is one of my favorites.
What I love most about these soups is that they contain flavor packets.
I can't stand food that is too salty and these packets give you some choice in how salty you want to make it. I usually use about half a flavor packet. The soup will still have enough flavor, but will be much lower in sodium.
(The next best step would be if they put the salt in a separate packet.)

5 out of 5 stars Great for work.   September 28, 2008
I gave up Ramen after college because it is packed with all kinds of horrendous ingredients (presumably why it is delicious). This one really tastes amazing for how healthy it is. I love that it's quick, so I keep it on hand at work.

5 out of 5 stars Convenient, tasty, and fun food for lunches or snacks   December 28, 2006

I keep a bunch of these in my office drawer for emergency lunches and snacks, and I love them. They taste great (not exactly chicken-y, but to me that's a plus), the nutrition isn't too bad -- certainly not when compared with mainstream instant ramen packages with their artery-hardening sodium levels and fried noodles (these are baked, and the sodium level isn't too bad), and the convenience simply can't be beat. They may not taste like "authentic" Japanese ramen noodles, but authenticity isn't their strength; instead, they allow you to enjoy convenience foods without incurring such a high cost to your body. Enjoy!
