Great shave for the price December 1, 2008
I have been using this shaver for about a month and I am very pleased. It provides a very close shave... especially for the price. It's also lightweight and holds a charge very well.
Nice close shaves November 29, 2008
Bought this last month after leaving my ten-year-old electric at a hotel.
Pros: It really does deliver a nice close shave. It's not quite as close as a blade, but it's darn close, and it's *miles* better than my old electric. The battery lasts a while, it's easy to clean, and the trimmer does work.
Cons: The power button must be held down for it to run. This is more of an issue for me because I'm left-handed and the power button placement is for right-handed users. (Of course, this won't matter for 90% of the population.) Also, the trimmer is fairly weak and somewhat difficult to get to work on rogue neck whiskers.
Overall, it's a great product with a few minor flaws.
 Great Shaver for the Money November 29, 2008
I needed to replace a Braun that had worn-out batteries and chose the Remington MS2-390 based on reviews in a "leading consumer magazine" and user comments posted here at Amazon. The MS2-390 is noisier, but it is lighter and shaves closer than the Braun. The MS2-390 is also cleaner, as it doesn't leak shaved whiskers like the Braun did. Plus, the MS2-390 can be rinsed in water. Overall the Remington MS2-390 is a very good razor for the money.
Best rechargeable razor November 29, 2008
My 74 year old husband says that this is the best electric rechargeable razor that he has ever had! It gives a close and comfortable shave but does require recharging usually after five shaves.
Great shaver November 29, 2008
Charges fast, gives a good, close shave. Not loud like my last one. I use it every day with no complaints.
