About Hollywood Racks Hollywood Racks started in 1973 when they began making trunk racks in the back of our bike shop in Hollywood, CA. As a retailer, the company knew exactly what people needed: good quality products that were easy to use. They earned a great reputation fast and began selling racks to other dealers, and later to the bike companies. Today, Hollywood Racks builds racks the only way they know how: simple, strong, and secure. Hollywood Racks are built with top-quality materials including high-strength steel, aircraft-quality fasteners, and thick powder coats to withstand the elements. Great Rack but... November 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is a pain for just one bike. I can take the front wheel off my road bike and put the bike in the trunk. That takes less time than setting up the rack and securing the bike. It is great for 2 to 3 bikes though.
nice rack October 31, 2008 It works like it said it would. However, if I had 3 adult bikes, it might be a bit tricky (we have 2 adult and one child bike).
I'm happy with it.
Very Pleased October 22, 2008 I bought this bike rack because it got good reviews and I'm glad I did! It works great and I'm very pleased.
Sturdy and easy to mount October 14, 2008 This bike rack turned out to be even better than I had hoped! The frame locks tighly into position, requires no tools to change the orientation for a different trunk, and the catches on the straps are super easy to tighten down completely while also releasing with complete ease. I replaced a 15 year old, horribly designed rack and couldn't be happier with this model. Especially the price!
great bike rack October 12, 2008 Bought this bike rack for a trip to austin that we were taking 3 bikes on. I drive a 00 accord coupe fit great did perfect on trip up there. While we were there a bike had some problems and i bought another bike thought i would have problems but i was able to fit and secure 4 bikes on it and it held up perfect on our way home. I reccomend this rack to anybody
