Product Description The IOGEAR Bluetooth 2.0 USB Micro Adapter offers Bluetooth connectivity at a fraction of the size of normal Bluetooth USB adapters. About the size of an adult fingernail, the IOGEAR Bluetooth 2.0 USB Micro Adapter allows users to connect to all the latest Bluetooth devices like cell phones, PDAs, mice and keyboards. Because the Micro Adapter is so small you can easily plug it into your computer without blocking any surrounding USB ports. The Micro Adapter also features Bluetooth EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) technology for transfer rates that are 3 times faster than traditional Bluetooth 1.1 and 1.2 adapters. The Micro Adapter also allows users to connect up to seven Bluetooth devices together and transfer even the largest files quickly and easily. With the Micro Adapter's lower power consumption, you can enjoy longer battery life on your notebook computer. This Bluetooth Class 2 adapter is also compatible with both Mac and PC computers, and offers a wireless range of 30 feet (10 meter). It is great for both home and mobile networking needs. Supports the following services - Serial Port, Network Access, Dial Up Networking, Headset, AV, File Transfer, Audio Gateway, Human Input Devices (HID) Compliant with Bluetooth 2.0 specifications; backwards compatible with Bluetooth 1.1 & 1.2 Requires Available USB port / Operating System - For PCs - Windows 2000/XP; For Macs - MAC OS X v10.3.9 or later

Fits and works great November 30, 2008 Fits securely in the usb slot. Won't fall out. Smooth edges so nothing gets caught on it.
Uses the Widicomm Bluetooth stack - I can't get the Toshiba stack to recognize it. Not really an issue - the software that comes with it works fine even in Vista.
I have had no issues with range - mouse works fine from 12 feet away in my living room.
I would definitely buy it again.
Bluetooth Adapter November 24, 2008 Im soo impress with this adapter. totally what i wasn't expecting they said its small but i didn't think that small , this bugger is tiny so much so u can hardly see it in your usb port and its work perfectly its like you always internal bluetooth. I would recommend this to anyone who wished to equipt their pc with bluetooth whether be desktop or laptop, this product works fantastic.
not Vista 64 bit compatible November 21, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This adapter is not compatible with Vista 64 bit systems. I installed and at no time did it say it wasn't for 64 bit OS's. After installing on a 3 day old pc I lost the ability to see 2 external usb drives. A USB keyboard/mouse were no longer recognized and the internal TV tuner was not recognized. I used Vista's System Restore and it got me back to before I installed it. I checked IOGEARS web site and they do not have 64 bit drivers for it so beware if you try.
Works perfect on my Mac Pro November 10, 2008 For Apple users:
I have an Intel Mac Pro. I plugged it in, rebooted (was only required for first time mouse pairing), ready to go, mighty mouse was found and has worked fine for the 30 days.
This sure beats schlepping my tower down to the Mac store and have them install the internal bluetooth card.
Works with Wiimote on Windows XP November 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great little bluetooth dongle. It works with the Wiimote on Windows XP using the default Microsoft Bluetooth stack. This allows you to use the WiimoteConnect program.
