The Memory Stick PRO format was designed to realize continuous real-time recording of high capacity high-resolution moving images. In addition to its theoretical maximum transfer speed of 160Mbps, a main advantage of the Memory Stick PRO format is its minimum write speed of 15Mbps as a format standard, which will enable continuous real-time recording of high-resolution moving images. Furthermore, the minimum write speed of 15Mbps will make it possible to design more reliable moving image recording devices capable of preventing data loss in the event of sudden power loss or accidental removal of the media during file recording.The new format includes the MagicGate copyright protection technology as a standard feature providing secure protection for commercial and copyrighted content. By fully utilizing an embedded intelligent controller unit, the Memory Stick PRO format will also enable prevention of third-party access to personal data.  Loads of space September 7, 2008
I bought this memory stick for my trip to Italy. I took about 500 pictures and still had lots of room. Guess I'll have to plan another trip!
 Great price-memory ratio... not too fast though September 5, 2008
Title says it all. For this price, I think you can't get any more memory. It works fine with my cameras as well as my PSP.
I wish the transfer of data was a bit faster... but I guess this is where the prices start going up.

There has been a lot of blog about people buying what they were told was a Sony Memory stick duo, only to find out later that it was a copy and not worth the money.
I ordered from THIS SEller and not only did I get it three days later, let me tell you all, it's the real thing. Buy your mem sticks from this seller.

I bought this item for a sony camera i also bought, but it happened that it didn't work. The camera uses another kind of memory, so i waste my money.
