Amazon.com Review Weber's Go-Anywhere gas grill adds convenience to the fun of camping and tailgating. This compact unit has a surprisingly generous grilling area--large enough to fit four medium steaks. The push-button ignition system makes lighting the fire easier than ever, and the patented heat-distributing Flavorizer bar ensures that your food cooks evenly and efficiently every time. You can lock the lid into place with the pivoting legs and carry this lightweight grill around in one hand. Built-in lid hangers allow you to rest the lid on the side of the grill to create an effective barrier against the wind. The triple-nickel-coated steel grate is easy to clean, and the porcelain-enameled steel lid and cooking box are built to last.
Product Description Here is the perfect grill for the beach, camping, or a weekend getaway to the lake. This portable grill features Weber's patented Flavorizer System, which distributes heat evenly across the cooking surface, essentially eliminating flare-ups.

Not too bad October 3, 2008 We purchased this to take to the lake this summer. We used it several times and enjoyed it very much. We did buy the adapter so we could hook up the larger tank; it did what it needed to do and I've no doubt it will get lots of use at the lake, tail gating, etc... I am not giving it five stars becase it doesn't cook as nicely as a large gas grill but then again we didn't expect it would. For the size and price I'd say it was a very good purchase.
How does one go wrong with Weber September 3, 2008 Great product to begin with. Added the 6' extension hose to make it more practical. Propane is expensive buying it by the small bottle. Shipping turnaround was fast. The shipping package was well insulated. No damage when received. Very satisfied with seller. The price was very competitive. Keep up the good work!
Works like a charm September 1, 2008 I've been using this grill for 6 years now and couldn't be happier. I used 1lb propane tanks for the first 3 or 4 years then broke down and purchased the connector line and a medium size refillable propane tank. The piezo spark unit worked very well for the first 3 or so years. It still sparks, but I can't seem to get it positioned right to enable it to ignite the gas. I've had no problems using a long handled butane starter though. After 3 or 4 years, I had to replace the flavorizer bar due to rust - got it from Amazon without problem. Everything else is stock. As others have said, it does get hotter on the side furthest from the valve, but I use that to my advantage. I regularly cook steaks, hamburgers, salmon (in foil), flank steak, hotdogs and sausages. It can easily handle two steaks, and four burgers, dogs, sausages, etc., but not more than that because of the heat distribution issue. The cooler end is great for toasting buns or vegies. After 6 years, the grill is still extremely dependable.
It DOES use standar 1LB tank August 9, 2008 Whatever the specs say, this unit DOES have a standard mini propane connector so you can use a Coleman-type 1-LB cannister OR an adapter hose to connect to a standard tank. And the grill cooks GREAT! It sears the meat without over cooking and easily burns off the residue after you're done. I woulda gave it a 4 but I added 1 for this - it COOLS off in 15 minutes after killing the gas so you can put it way quick. For that I gave it a FIVE!
Perfect Small Grill August 4, 2008 This is our second one and we love it. No fooling with matches; just push the button to light. It grills perfectly. Just as good as my large built in gas grill in my winter home. I would definetly recommend this grill to anyone who has a limited area, but likes to grill.
