Product Description
Morning Glory, black-purple flowers with a cerise throat in abundance on this climber to 4 feet, flowers from July to October. Easy to germinate and grow, very heat tolerant prefers full sun. If transplanting, start indoors 5-6 weeks before transplant and harden-off before final placement. Direct sow after danger of frost.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars beautiful   November 16, 2008
I purchased these seeds last spring. It took awhile for the vines to flower, but once they did boy were they spectacular! If you container plant these seeds, be sure not to let the soil dry out. I have so many seed pods from these 3 vines its crazy! SO many flowers! Also, the color was nothing like in the posted photograph, but were more of a very vibrant amethyst purple with a crimson veining. Not burgandy-ish at all, but very beautiful regardless.

4 out of 5 stars A nice addittion to the yard.   October 31, 2008

I planted these late spring so they didn't have as long a growing season as the rest of my morning glories. I planted them a good distance from my other varieties but still got a mixed bunch. Some of the flowers were a medium purple, but over half were a deep rich purple that was very nice to see.

4 out of 5 stars great seeds, but not "black"   August 22, 2008

These seeded really easily, but the photo shows a deep dark maroon flower, and my flowers were more of a deep purple. Otherwise, fantastic and easy to grow.
