Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Papaver "Rose Bombast" This is a Rose Moon with lacier petals than the typical peony-type poppy. This plant grows about a yard high and the flowers are about 5 inches across. To me the Bombast poppies look more like peonies than the peony poppies do. It is a great cut flower.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars beautiful and reseeds itself   September 29, 2008
planted these in early spring to surprise my neighbors. As for the reviewer who thought these might be opium poppies-- shame on you. These have nothing in common with opium poppies. I've lived overseas and these are far prettier and are actually legal. My neighbors complimented me all the time about these and were startled that these were just poppies! They've started to resprout in fall without me having to seed them myself. Easy to grow. Press them into wet, loamy soil and keep well watered until they're established.

1 out of 5 stars More bogusness from Hirts   July 30, 2008

This seller is selling a German variety of poppy, Bombast, as if it were a field variety grown for opium production in Turkey. It isn't. It was developed for its coloration. This seller is a liar.
