This is actually my second protector. The first one lasted over a year but had to be replaced from too many muddy paws and many, many trips to the washing machine. I have an 80lb dog that is always in the car, even after rain, snow, swimming, etc. This fits well, stays in place, and perfectly matches my cars light gray interior. Even when the dog has been swimming and is wet and muddy, my seats are completely safe underneath. It is reasonably easy to get on and off (2-3 minutes max) and can be machine washed and dried (low heat). Another plus is that it stays fairly cool even on very hot days (I wish I could say the same for the leather seats!). A definite recommend!
