This bit is strong (1/2" shank), cut cleanly, and is easy to control. I bought it to put beading on the sides of an outside cabinet I built, comprised of 2x10s. Obviously I used a guide (2x4, clamped), but I found the bit to be easy to control even when going thru knots.
This bit has the smallest bottom profile that I could find (i.e. the bottom of the groove). It did the job required of it, lived to tell about it, and I'm happy to add it to The Arsenal.
