Product Description Time of day, calendar and alarm / Backlight for easy low light viewing / Water resistant / EKG accurate / 100 hour stopwatch and countdown timer
Amazon.com Product Description Specifically made for women, with its lightweight and slender design, this all-in-one heart rate monitor and sports watch by Reebok uses a patented method called "pulse technology" to measure the electrical pulses sent out by your heart each time it beats. Of course, the amazing part is that it works by finger touch rather than the cumbersome chest strap used by most other heart monitors. Within four seconds of touching the sensors on the watch, you can get not only an accurate heart rate reading, but also the number of calories burned during your workout. The monitor has a programmable heart rate zone with audible and visual alarms to alert you when you get out of zone, plus a settable alarm if you have a maximum rate you should not exceed. Made from durable plastic and fully water-resistant, the device also features regular watch functions, plus a 100-hour stopwatch and countdown timer. It comes with a complete walking and exercise guide and one-year warranty. About Reebok Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

Love it September 7, 2008 Have never had a rate monitor watch so nothing to compare this to. I think a chest strap would be a pain so chose this. I love all that it does, the style, the color and the convenience. I certainly don't mind pushing the sides to get my heart rate. One of the things I appreciate the most is that I can set a range so if my rates under or over it alarms when I check it. In the sun and the sweat my eyes don't focus well to see the rate. With the alarm feature I can tell if I'm in range. I would buy this watch all over again.
Not perfect, but not bad August 19, 2008 Won't always give a reading and not as convenient to use as some, but not too bad for the price.
Easy to use, works well for me August 16, 2008 I wanted a quick way to measure my heart rate while walking for exercise - this does the job well. I like that it is accurate while not having to wear an uncomfortable chest strap. I can easily wear this whenever I go walking (even for a lunchtime walk at work) to keep my heart rate in the target zone (the watch sets a target zone and flashes with an L or H if your heart rate is too low or high). I have never had a problem with the watch not measuring my heart rate by pressing two fingers on the buttons - it has worked every time. I take my heart rate while walking fast - no need to stop.
I also use the timer to keep track of the length of my walk. I have not used the calorie calculator, so I cannot assess that feature.
The reason I considered this watch in the first place is that it is fairly small and fits small wrists. My wrist is 5.75" and there are still two slots left to adjust for even smaller wrists. It is lightweight and the plastic strap is fairly flexible. The face (15/16" glass, 1.5" across from left edge to right edge) is a nice size, still a little bulky, but it is a sport watch. The blue color is nice - not too girly like pink would be, but more stylish than black or grey.
Easy to use product August 14, 2008 This product is simple and very nice for those who don't want to use the chest strap style monitors. I received the product from Amazon, used it a few times, and it broke. Amazon quickly and kindly exchanged my item, and I haven't had any problems with the new one.
I'm still on the fence regarding the calories burned during a workout. When I use the elliptical, the machine reads differently than my watch. The heart rate is right on though.
I would recommend this product if you are looking for an easy use, less expensive alternative. These things can get really expensive.
Reebok watch is awesome August 11, 2008 I bought this watch to help with workout and heart rate during workouts. It is great and very accurate. I would highly recommend buying.
