 Excellent Product!!! August 20, 2008
I have mild/moderate acne and I've tried nearly EVERYTHING to get rid of it. My mom bought this for me because she thought it was cheap and it claimed to be better than Proactiv. We gave it a try last night and I was so surprised to actually see dramatic results in the morning! My large pimples were much smaller--almost unnoticeable and most of my other pimples had cleared up. I thought you had to wait for at least a week before you saw any results, but I saw them in one night! Unbelievable! I will continue to use this product and buy more of it.
Better than the store brand! August 12, 2008
So my mother always bought me the store brand acne treatment (it didn't work- she liked it because it was cheep) But my acne never cleared up (I have it bad in between my eyes and on my chin). So she goes out and buys AcneFree (much cheaper than Proactiv- and the box claimed to be better than it- I was a bit skeptical- because thats what the sore brand stuff boasted) So I have been using it twice a day (day&night) and I have seen an big improvement (even after only 3 days!!) The blemishes are still there- but they are lighter and less noticeable =]
This product is highly recommended

I made sure I tried this product long enough to see progress before writing a review. I have read reviews and noticed about half are happy with it (the same people who stuck with the product long enough) and the other half roughly are saying this is a horrible product that it made their acne worse. Well, this product DID MAKE MY ACNE WORSE, then it became better! I have been using AcneFree for 2 weeks and 1 day, and I can say that as of today I have NO NEW ACNE and the redness is diminishing and my skin is becoming smoother. This is a huge break through for me, because everything I have tried never worked. I have done the intense "spot treatment" medications, and the natural lavender oils.....nothing worked.... I have never had acne before, but since going on the Depo Provera birth control shot, I developed acne from my nose to my chin. It was very frustrating and embarrassing.
Now I am wearing less cover-up make up and probably won't be needing to for much longer. My husband has even said my skin looks better.
Bottom line: this is a good product if you are willing to be dedicated to it. Give it at least a month (I vowed I would finish the bottles even if I didnt see results...) These things take time, and good things are worth the wait.
Cleared up my skin for over 3 years now July 21, 2008
I began using Acnefree over 3 years ago. I have tried all sorts of treatments including many prescription medications and even antibiotics. However, Acnefree is better than all of them. It does take time to work - any new treatment for Acne takes 6 weeks to become fully effective. That is because the best way to treat acne is prevent it, not try and clear it up. It is important to use Acnefree when your skin is clear as a preventative measure to prevent blocked oil glands.
I started using the 3 step process twice daily, for many months. However, as I didn't have a single zit, I changed to once daily. When my face remained clear, I went to just using the cleanser once daily in the shower. I still use the lotion when my skin is dry, but the cleanser alone keeps me free.
Remember, not everything works for everybody. But as a mild benzoyl peroxide product, this one is great. Other reviewers that it can bleach towels and clothing are correct - this is true of all benzoyl peroxide preparations. I just use it in the shower, and haven't had any problems.
Give it a try!
 Decent, not treatment July 18, 2008
The actual treatment part is much too small of a concentration of Benxoyl Peroxide. The cleanser is ok, but does not exfoliate. The toner works very well at pemoving dead skin, but nothing more. I use the cleanser, toner, then my own bottle of Benzoyl Peroxide 10%. I gave away the bottle that comes with the kit. btw, the toner is just that wish... stuff.
