I have never read a bigger piece of trash than this book. If you are into fearmongering and to misguided use of Scripture to make decisions about the world around us, this book is for you.
Full of contradictions and short on solutions, this isnt worth the time to even consider and truthfully I dont know why I am wasting my time writing this review.
If you believe the end of the world is near, rejoice! If you are of sane mind and believe in the inherant goodness of people and a kind and loving God, only use this book to wipe yourself after a bathroom break.

Very few books impact your life in such a way that you will never live the next day in the same way you did the last.....this book does just that. You will find it more than difficult to put this book down. Dr. Jeremiah clearly and concisely reveals Biblical Prophecy in a way that will impact the way you live your daily life; truly you will not be able to view the world, nor your individual life, in the same way after reading this book.
One of the things that will fascinate you, as you begin to read, is the current events that are explained in such captivating detail. The book reads as if it were just written a few weeks ago. In a few chapters you will have a better understanding of World Affairs and you will clearly find the answers to the question, "What In The World Is Going On?" This book's purpose and presentation help you to understand Biblical prophetic events as they unfold around you at this very moment.
Dr. Jeremiah helps you to easily discover and understand the astounding truth about the upcoming Rapture, the Antichrist, and the Armageddon with amazing detail in an "easy to comprehend" style of writing. Dr. Jeremiah has done an outstanding job of summarizing the main End Times biblical prophecies and combines them into today's current events. While much has been written by many on what the Bible really says about the End Times, this book succintly summarizes the main points combining them with world-wide current events to suggest to the reader that we are likely nearing the end of the age. This is clearly not intended to be an exhaustive study. I highly recommend this work for all who desire to find a clear presentation of the general End Times scenario. For those wishing to dig further into the topic, the bibliography included in the Notes section will at least get you well started. Enjoy !!!!!!!!

In a time of uncertainty, with threats from powers overseas, rising prices, mortgage crises, etc., we wonder what the future holds. Dr. Jeremiah doesn't so much deal with those issues, but with the bigger picture, and how Bible prophecy relates to what is going on in the world today. He deals with the European economic union - who would have thought 50 years ago that all those countries would come together. And there is a serious threat from the muslims, who want to rule the world, literally.
Dr. Jeremiah ties all this and more to Bible prophecy. The second half of the book deals with the coming together of many small nations, giving their Old Testament names, and relating all that to prophecies in the books of Daniel (i.e. Nebuchadnezzer's (sp.) vision) and the prophecies in Revelation. The book brings hope and a challenge for the believer, and little comfort for those who do not believe.

Dr. David Jeremiah is a highly respected author, speaker, and pastor. The information he shares in this very readable & understandable book should open our eyes to "what is really happening" in our world today. I would recommend it to anyone who cares about our country, our world, our future.
