Good item for the price July 14, 2008
I've been putting off buying battries for my UPS because of the price. (I have 8 UPS's) but saw this one priced low so thought I'd try it. I've only had them about a month, but they charged up fine and running fine. The true test is how long they will last. The orignial batteries lasted for 5 years...so we'll see.

Like everyone else says, it work fine.
But now I'm stuck with no place to send the old battery, or pay $$ to recycle at the local landfill.

I ordered two of these to replace the failed ones. They were exactly as described and worked perfectly. This was definitely more cost-effective than replacing the UPS.
RBC2 Battery for UPS backup August 31, 2007
Appears to be working fine. Of course it hasn't been installed but a month or so...ask me again in a year or so.

I've replaced the batteries in two of my APC UPS devices and both have worked.
I replaced my APC Back-UPS 500 battery a few months ago and have had a few power cuts since then and it hasn't failed yet.
I also replaced the battery in an APC Back-UPS CS a few weeks ago and that has also kept the PC running during a couple of power cuts so far.
I haven't used it with monitoring software so I don't know if it gives the correct information on the remaining battery life.
Update Jan 2008:
It's been almost two years since I replaced my batteries and they're still working even after many power outages.
