Amazon.com Product Description For the ultimate in wireless freedom, look no further than the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset, which represents a generational leap in Bluetooth headset technology. The 510 is comfortable and light enough for all day wear, and it offers unprecedented clarity and sound quality. These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive "Multipoint" technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. You'll never need to use a dedicated "landline" phone headset again. The 510 features a noise-canceling microphone for clearer conversations, and it folds for easy storage. The boom also swivels for perfect positioning on either ear. One-touch call control buttons are placed for easy access, and you can easily redial the last number dialed and initiate voice-activated calls from the headset. Because the 510 is Bluetooth-enabled (it supports the Bluetooth 1.2 specification) you can roam up to 33 feet from your Bluetooth device. Meanwhile, the 510 supports adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) which helps avoid interference from wi-fi networks. Ample talk time is provided by the built-in rechargeable battery; you'll get up to 6 hours talk time and up to 100 hours of standby time.

Stylish and comfortable July 5, 2008 This is my second bluetooth headset. I bought this mainly for the style and it did not disappoint me. Excellent clarity of voice and overall a good buy for the price
sound quality not as suggested July 5, 2008 I bought this unit after reading many positive reviews, and thus hoped for a positive experience. However, the most honest critiques come from my wife, and she said that I sounded muffled and "like I was talking in the bottom of a barrel". Unfortunately, I had to return the product. I've also tried Bluetooth from Motorola and received the same critique from my wife. I'm beginning to think that Bluetooth has a long way to go before it has the same quality as wired headsets. I don't like getting tangled up in wires, but I also want my callers to be able to understand me. The wait continues for a proper bluetooth device. (I own a Blackberry 8800 device, by the way.)
Hated it! July 4, 2008 A salesman talked me into the Voyager 510. Although the sound quality was very good I still hated it.
Difficult to put on your ear. Difficult to turn on or off. Difficulty recognizing the difference between Voice Dialing and redialing the last number you called. Hurt my ear after a short time. Comes with 4 different ear plugs, with or without them it still hurt my ear after 10 - 15 minutes.
Returned it and bought the Motorola H700 which I love.
Review July 4, 2008 Plantronics 510 works great for me, no problems so far for this product from me. Great sound quality and noise canceling...it even plays the music from my mp3 player on my phone and sounds really good.
Ordinary BT headset! July 3, 2008 Pros: 1. Quite comfortable on the ear
Cons: 1. wind noise (reception on the other side is not that good, if you are walking/travelling) 2. size on the higher side (could have been smaller/slimmer)
After using it for some time, went to normal wired headsets for my iphone.
