This sync cable really works well especially if you are on the go. Just be careful not to snatch it out of your computer. The wiring on the usb end is a little fragile, otherwise GREAT ITEM!!
 Just what I was looking for August 28, 2007
I was looking for a sync and charge cable to take with me to work each day, and this fits the bill. You need to be careful when retracting the cord (be gentle and pull from both ends), but that is to be expected. It's small enought to keep in a pocket in my purse with my flash drive. I like it so much that I typically use this instead of the sync cable that came with my Treo!

The good news is that the produce works as advertised. It charges and allows me to sync. The other news is that the cable is thin (as someone else had noted) so you have to be careful with it, especially when you are retracting it. It didn't come with a case (which would have added some protection when not in use. I must have one somewhere. Otherwise, I am satisfied with it.

This item is NOT worth the money. First off, every time I use it with my Palm Treo 700p the thing resets my Treo. The sync feature does not work, the tiny "cable" does not actually retract.
It's junk.
The standard Palm sync & charge cable that came with my Treo may be bulky, but at least it WORKS.
I'd give this thing zero stars if I could. Don't bother with it.

Works as advertised. I had one before and lost it. This one seems to be as sturdy as my previous one. Wish the wires were a bit more sturdy but that would make the spool larger.
All in all, a nice unit.
