 rugged, complete, inexpensive October 6, 2008
Pros:
- looks and feels rugged
- with the screenprotector and beltclip included with the the protective case, this makes for a complete solution to protecting and wearing your blackberry
- at under $5, this is an extremely good deal.
Cons:
- once the case is on, it is difficult to get it off. that's both a good and a bad thing. good obviously because the case stays on on impact, so even if your phone bounces a couple times the case is there to save it for you. Bad because every so ofter you want to (a) clean the case and phone as dust and other particles accumulate, and (b) take out the battery to reboot the phone. One tip: Have a key handy, it acts as a bottle-opener for this case :)
- even though the belt clip is included, I would be skeptical of trusting the secureness of my phone to a product at this price point. that being said, i have not tried it, so YMMV :)
Overall, great investment!

This case is terrible. No built in screen protector (obviously). But the worst thing is that it is literally impossible to get off by hand for battery/SD card removal. I took another reviewer's advice and tried using a flat head screwdriver to "pop it open". I eventually got it off, but only after creating several blemishes on the sides of my blackberry from the screwdriver. Yes, it is that hard to get off. I tried by hand for over ten minutes before I resorted to a screwdriver. DO NOT BUY THIS CASE.

protects the phone and screen but does not change the appearance of my red blackberry which is nice, I don't use the clip, I just slip it in my bag.

Unbeatable price.
Clear plastic case, easy to put it on, but notoriously difficult to remove it if necessary.
The screen protector looks good, but don't know how long it'll last.
Would have been nice if there was a soft plastic protector for the buttons.

Easy to put on. Removing is a bit tricky but I used a metal pointed tool and was able to take it off without snapping the plastic.
