Good luck getting your N95-3 in this case. August 25, 2008 While this case is advertised by AMAZON as being compatible with the "new" N95-3 (NAM, a.k.a., US 3G version), it isn't. Even SF Planet's own website (who supplied it) doesn't make that claim. Allegedly, the manufacturer is trying to make it work and even abandoned a former design if what I was told is true. The problem, of course, is the dual-slider design of the phone, and the fact that the solution attempted by Krusell--a plastic loop that's SUPPOSED to fit under the lower slider but not impede your ability to open the phone--doesn't work.
Two things will happen to you if you manage to get your phone in this thing--the lower slider will either get stuck and won't close, or the phone will be so tight that you can't open the slider without using two hands. My primary concern is that it will ultimately damage the slider, which while considered loose in the N95-1 has been tightened up in the N95-3. That, and the fact that the case simply doesn't fit.
The only answer is a horizontal pouch, but that's a good thing. Magnetic cover latch, easy removal, free lanyard (don't get the one labeled "SKY"), and fine construction (leather, strong clip AND belt loops). I blame Amazon, not SF Planet, for advertising it as being N95-3 compatible, although actually RECEIVING a credit would be nice since they promised it 24 days ago at the time of this writing.
The best case for N95 ( so far ) July 15, 2008 I am currently using this case for the N95-3, and it works ok. There are some annoyances ( like having to open the front cover to use the keypad ) but they are over shadowed by the protection the phone gets. What I really like is that it protects the Carl Zeiss lens from damage, better than any of the other cases I tried. I am satisfied with this purchase.
Great N95 case July 3, 2008 This great leather case fits beautifully for my nokia N95-4 and it looks good too. Don't get me wrong, it's not the perfect case, but overall it is the best case (in my opinion) for N95.
It does fit, it works, but... June 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not an easy to handle phone. They don't make other good holders for it. This is a nice holder, keeps the phone in place and in your belt. The only problems I see are: 1. the clip should be magnetic, so you can snap the cover close without having to look, and 2, the clear plastic holding the keypad, will eventually break, by the friction of the sliding screen, over it and out each time you need to use the keypad. I worn our mine, so i am buying a new one. Is not expensive, and there are no valid alternatives. I bougth everyone in the market. One is a soft letather pouch that will hold your phone... in a purse or pocket. The other made by Nokia is of very hard leather, quite ugly and clips to the belt without allowing to tilt or swivel. All in all, the best around. Buy it.
Don't get it June 18, 2008 Case does not fit the n-95. Bought it specifically for my new n95-3 and it doesn't fit.
