With a compact and comfortable design, the headset delivers longer talk times at a great price. This headset is both discreet and stylish, yet Motorola does not scrimp on functionality. The small size and lightweight construction allows for easy storage when not in use. Just slip the device in your pocket or toss it inside your glove box. Also, don't be fooled by the headset's good looks -- this petite powerhouse provides impressive battery power and an intuitive "flip" microphone boom to clearly pick up your voice. The H700 features lengthy talk and standby times -- up to six hours of talk time or 130 hours of standby time from a single full charge. And included with the headset is a handy, compact travel charger to ensure that you'll never run out of power on the go. When you use your H700 for the first time, you must pair the headset with your phone. Once your phone recognizes the headset, the H700 is easy to operate -- simply place the headset on your ear, flip the microphone boom to connect, and a link is automatically established. This headset is designed with the BCO3 chipset with echo and noise cancellation software for world class audio quality in even the noisiest environments. Motorola's premium look and feel is highlighted by the H700's award-winning, iconic flip-to-connect design. Connect to an incoming call by simply flipping down the microphone, and disconnect by flipping it back up. This hip, easy-to-use design will make the H700 the envy of any Bluetooth aficionado. Don't stop with just your cell phone; consider pairing the H700 with your Bluetooth-enabled PC for great, hands-free Voice Over IP (VoIP) communications. Designed for anyone, the adjustable earhook allows the headset to be worn on either the left or right ear. You can also easily control the volume or mute your call directly from the H700. This Motorola wireless accessory is compatible with any Bluetooth 1.2 enabled mobile phones or devices that support headset and hands-free profiles. Safe Driving November 29, 2008 It picks up a little to much back round noise causing you to turn off the radio and close windows. The battery life even when turned off is to short.
Didn't Last Long October 20, 2008 I bought this headset about six months ago and it stopped working totally. The battery life is very low. It worked okay while it was working, but I could only use it for local calls. No one could understand me if I called someone 100+ miles away. I would not recommend this or get one of these again.
WIRELESS EMPORIUM - False Advertising of Motorola H700 October 19, 2008 Wireless Emporium claims this is a Morotola H700 Bluetooth Headset AND that it comes in Motorola Retail Packaging. NOT true. It comes in an unsealed plastic package, marked simply as a bluetooth headset. The item itself is marked Motorola but there are lots of fake H700s that are marked "Motorola." The one Wireless Emporium sold wouldn't sync with my Nokia phone, which it should. I lost a genuine H700, that I purchased from Nokia, and it worked easily. I have lost confidence in this merchant. They did return my money when requested, but I thought it was notable that their invoice asked me to contact them directly with any "problems." I don't think they want customer complaints going back to them via amazon since amazon has an interest in keeping fakes from being sold as the genuine article. It hurts their business too.
Good, small, headset October 8, 2008 I let my wife try my headset and liked it so much we bought one for her. What I like about it: It's small, very light, and has a low profile on the ear. The best feature we like is to to turn on and off the bluetooth with the switchblade like boom. Powering it on or off with a single flip motion was more useful than we thought. The call and volume up or down buttons are easy to use. Sound is clear, no problems. Drawbacks: It's small so I have a tendancy to put it in my pocket, which at times, presses against the call button causing it to enter 'discovery mode'. Easy to lose / misplace this device if you're not carful with it. When on the ear, it doesn't always fit super snug. So when driving, I turn my head to check for traffic, the device moves a bit, but doesn't fly off either. Overall, a good bluetooth headset. I'd buy another one if I needed it.
Did not meet expectations September 23, 2008 Although Consumer Reports gave it a great review, mine has so much static that I can hardly understand people talking. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I quit using it.
