Classy looking case that fits my Palm TX Perfectly April 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I recently bought a new Palm TX and needed a case for it. I looked at several types including the hard aluminum cases and ultimately I decided upon this one. I can not be more pleased with it!
Out of the box, I was impressed with the quality of the stitching, the feel of the leather, the magnetic snap of the latch closure, and the velour lining on the inside was a sophisticated touch! I couldn't wait to put my new pda inside it!
The fit was very snug which gives it that protected feeling. I'm sure it will loosen up a bit after awhile since it is leather so a tight fit now is a good thing. I'm not too worried about it getting loose in time because I don't foresee a reason for me to take my palm out of this case often. Like the other reviewers have said, every port one needs to access is readily available with the case on!
There was another case on amazon I was looking at that is basically the same style except it didn't have the headphone jack cutout as this case has. That was a requirement of mine when picking out a case since I could use it to listen to music with the padded rigid cover snapped on to protect my pda!
The vertical flip style is really nice and like another reviewer had written, when you flip it open and relatch the magnetic closure, you form a loop to slide your hand through and lessen the stress of holding your Palm TX and it does feel more secure in my hand that way!
Those hard cases are obviously going to be more protective but the leather case does offer a good amount of protection all around AND is stylish and classy looking, not to mention it's not so slippery out of my hand. I'm sure this leather case will wear more beautifully than any aluminum case too but everyone's got their own preference.
If you're looking for a case for your Palm TX, I highly recommend this beautiful case. I am careful with my devices but judging the craftsmanship of this case, I'm sure it will last for years to come! I'm happy with my purchase, it's sooooo nice!! And it's not super bulky to fit into my purse either, I love it...well worth the money spent in my opinion!
Great Product April 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this flip-case. Aesthetically, it has beautiful soft leather with high-quality, clean, unobtrusive stitching. Functionally, it's exactly what I was looking for.
This case fits my Palm TX perfectly, with access to all ports and switches while still in the case. I also have easy access to the stylus. I cannot believe that other cases require the user to remove the unit from the case in order to use all functions, or even to charge it. With this case, I even have access to the headphone jack when the case is closed, which is key if you want to use the mp3 player.
The magnetic latch is great, and since the strap is positioned on the flip-cover, it doesn't get in the way when the cover is open.
Although I haven't regularly used the belt-clip, I am considering it. The clip attaches nicely to a belt. The unit clicks into the clip, which then has a spring-loaded mechanism for releasing the unit.
The screw attaches securely into the back of the case, and when the screw is removed, the threads in the case that accept it are completely unnoticeable.
This is a high-quality product, and I can't imagine someone being unhappy with it.

Did not fit Palm well, tight and stretched, covered part of charging connector. Did't seem to offer much protection. I threw it out and went to a plastic armor case.
Most intelligent PDA case I've ever seen January 14, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Wow, I just received my case. I've owned Palms and Handsprings for nearly as long as they've been making them. I always buy a case, and I'm used to having to deal with at least some drawback. But this case seems to be the first that's really intelligently designed. Fits my TX beautifully.
Here are some notable features:
* The application/cursor buttons are not occluded at all, and yet the Palm is still perfectly snug. That's a first! * The cover flips over behind the Palm, as with any vertical flip case, but it also gets the latching tab completely out of the way by connecting even when flipped. * When the cover is flipped and the magnetic tab connected, it makes a grip that holds onto my fingers. I find myself relaxing more while holding it, as I'm less worried about dropping it. * The tab that closes the cover is magnetic with a catching rim. I've never seen such a thing before. Being magnetic, it's easy to close and open, and yet having that catching rim, it stays securely closed. (At this point I'm short on experience to know how successful it will be.) * When the cover is closed, the TX is fully protected from damage everywhere but at the on/off button and audio jack. Not even the sides of the PDA are exposed. * To connect power and the sync cable, all you have to do is detach the tab -- doing so exposes these jacks. No need to remove the TX from the case, no need to even expose the screen. * The cover is quite sturdy, and I trust it to protect the screen. * Plenty of sturdy little pockets under the cover to put SD cards and such. * Attaching the clip is optional; and yet while not attached, the clip connector on the back of the case hardly protrudes. I won't be using the clip and am glad I'll still be able to lay the case flat on a table. * The clip that comes with it is the best kind, from my experience. I've had too many Palms detach from my trousers and land on the ground. This clip has a lip at the bottom to be sure it catches well even on clothes. * It seems well crafted and is nice to look at.
I hope BoxWave stays in business forever and produces a new case for every PDA I own. I'll stop thinking of cases as a necessary evil and start thinking of them as a way to make the PDA even classier.
Apologies for the overly positive review, but I really like what I got.

I read all the reviews of the different Palm TX cases and I ended up going with this one. I am glad I did. It is a good product. I have no complaints.
