I own a pair of Brooks Addiction 6,7 & 8. Yes, you can say I'm Addicted. Thank you Brooks and Amazon!
Continues to meet Expectations September 12, 2008 If You need a higher end Stability sneaker.....then this will work well. I need it for pronation and it has worked for 4 years (1st time on Amazon). I do not run in them but use for lots of other activities. They wear well and come in a variety of size/width combo to help get the right fit. They retail for much higher $. Order was rec'vd promptly as promised
Pronation Support September 8, 2008 Comfortable shoe for general use and walking, especially for men with over-pronation problems and flat-feet. Strong and durable shoe. May not be as light compared to other running shoes such as Saucony, etc.
Brooks Addictions August 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have worn Brooks Addictions since my days as a runner. I wear them now for all my walking workouts. They are great for my pronation and for cushioning and control. I am always looking for the newest edition of Addictions and of course appreciate a discount from the market price of these shoes. When I saw that Amazon was selling them, I didn't hesitate to purchase a pair. They arrived in perfect condition, and in a short time frame. I will certainly purchase more of these from Amazon in the future.
The best running shoes for medium-over pronators July 29, 2008 For years, I had been buying running shoes just by its looks and the price, once I ended up with a nike (nothing against nike, they make great shoes) and started having knee pains even after a few minutes on the treadmill.
I bought the Brooks addiction and I feel so much comfortable running with this pair of shoes, it has been 3 years the shoes show very little signs of wear and tear, but performing as good as it was 3 years back.
If you are shopping for a good pair of running shoes, do some research online, talk to your local runners club learn about the kind of shoe you want to buy - how much of pronation does your feet do, how much do you weigh, what is your shoe size on the leght and the width. Another option is to check out your local shoe store and talk with them, do not try go to sports authority or any other chains, they just have salesmen, try going to small running shoe stores that are passionate about running and only sell running stuff.
