 Perfect Pushup gives you the PUMP! June 27, 2007

I've been doing pushups for years, but I didn't know what a true pushup workout was until I started using the Perfect Pushup. I've been pumping up with it for about one month and notice strength gains and more definition in my chest. You don't need to do as many pushups with this training device because it does a better job of working the muscles than a standard pushup so you are fatigued sooner. My only complaint was the long lead-time on delivery!

Well, it does what it claims to do-- changes alignment as you do pushups to avoid strain on your wrists. But it feels unstable (no turn resistance whatsoever), and isn't a significant enough improvement to warrant the high price. I've gone back to just using a folded-over towel under each hand.

Worth the money. Does exactly what it says, they're idiot proof, and much improved over the old c-handle looking push up bars. Love 'em. Old Army/Marine types like me will have basic training flashbacks!

I started getting into shape about three weeks ago. I was 220 lbs, and one out shape sonofabitch. My performance at school was on the decline, and was getting depressed of how I was treating my body. One day I decided to get up and change the way I live. My first stop was to get some exercise machines at home because the gym is frankly too expensive for me right now. I bought the total body works 5000 and the perfect pushup from amazon. In about a month now, I have lost twenty pounds, and feel better than I have in a long time.
I will add that the perfect pushup is a great machine. It is very light, yet extremely sturdy. One thing that anyone who buys any workout system is that you have to eat right to see results. I have given up rice and bread, and have used fruits and veggies as my main source for carbohydrates. Eat very lean meat, and stay away from fruit juices and sodas (all very hazardous for your health -- stick with water).
I know I went off on a tangent, but to get to the point abou this exercise machine is that it is wonderful. Your chest will increase in width and gain definition.

I've been practicing karate for many years now. I don't really work out with weights, but I do lots and lots of pushups. "Perfect Pushup" just turned my world up side down - it's so much better than regular pushup!!! Especially for people practicing martial arts or boxing - it's a must have. It gives you exactly the same twisting motion as when you throw a punch. Just after a few exercise, you'll feel the difference. Your punches will be stronger, faster, and much more powerful! I highly recommend it to anyone, from beginner to advanced.
