Great versatile shoe for mild pronators April 25, 2008 I run somewhere between 30-50 miles a week and am a mild pronator. I'm on my second pair of the GTS 7's in about 6 months and I rotate between these and the similarly designed shoe from Mizuno (Wave Inspire 3) and Adidas (Supernova). Personally speaking, I find the Adrenaline are a pretty decent compromise between these shoes. They feel comfortable, pretty responsive, and generally wear very well once broken in. I feel faster in my Mizuno's, though (I don't think I've ever raced in the Brooks), and there is a definite break in period for me where one of my pinky toes can get badly blistered if I run exclusively in the Brooks. Once they're broken in, though, this isn't a problem, and if I rotate shoes, it also isn't a problem so I really don't fault anything in the design of the Adrenalines.
With a couple changes these could probably be my favorite shoes and a shoe I would race in, but as is, they're about tied with the Mizuno's as my favorite running shoe.
Brooks are great- wish it had been free shipping April 15, 2008 I had to return the shoe for a wider and longer size. Because of this, I had to select a different color option. The shoe is good. The gentleman was very easy to work with at EFootwear. He was informative and replaced my order quickly. In the future, I will shop Zappos.com first to take advantage of free shipping BOTH WAYS. If I don't see what I want at Zappos I will shop through amazon links. Good buy.
Just want I wanted April 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great shoes--just what I needed for my high arches and pronation style. I've had three pairs now, no longer experience plantar fasciitis and have recorded my fastest runs to date.

I just received both Brooks Trance and these Adrenaline GTS shoes. Both exceeded my expectations. I'd never even heard of Brooks prior to doing a search here on Amazon. The Adrenalines are noticeably softer than the Trances. Both are very comfortable and offer plenty of arch support for someone like myself who has very flat feet and weighs over 200lbs. My girlfriend almost bought me a $150+ pair of Nike Shocks for valentines day. Im glad I talked her out of it.

Excellent price and timely delivery. Great, lightweight running shoe. My second pair. The first pair lasted one year of almost daily running.
