Jerk Chicken perfection. January 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to buy Walkerswood Jamaican Jerk Seasoning at Bev Mo, but they stopped carrying it. In fact I can't find it in any grocery store in San Francisco any longer. Why is this? This jerk seasoning is FANTASTIC!!!
It's got good heat and does not need anything added. I put rub 2 or 3 tablespoons of it all over a whole chicken and then roast it in my Showtime rotisserie and it is excellent. The chicken skin even gets somewhat crispy despite the wetness of the seasoning. This stuff is outstanding.

Have used for many, many years. Have tried other jerks and this is by far the best! You will not go wrong buying this item. Enjoy!
I'm so happy October 24, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I saw this product on the Food Network. I went on a cruise about 2-3 weeks later and ended up sharing a dinner table with an older couple from Jamaica. We discussed jerk seasonings and they mentioned this product since they now live in Jersey. I decided to purchase once I returned home. I ordered on a Monday, it shipped on Tuesday and to my surprise I received on Thursday. I have since made 2 dishes and I am so happy. I feel like I can enjoy the Caribbean whenever I want in my own kitchen. My next order I'm getting multiple bottles.

Ran into this stuff first at a Hops Grill and Bar, grilled salmon. Liked it so much I bought a little tub of it from the place. I've moved, and Hops is not around here. No worries. I can do my own thing with a jar of this, some clarified butter, sour cream and yoghurt.
A little goes a long ways. But I don't know of anything that compares, let alone beats the taste.
