Very well designed wireless weather station July 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The weather station is very accurate. The projection output includes focus and positioning adjustments that satisfy all viewing needs. It is attractive and can be placed in a variety of locations. The graphic forecaster is simple, fun and surprisingly correct. I am very pleased with the purchase.
Oregon Projection Clock May 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had one of these clocks for 7 years and one day it finally needed to be replaced. I had become so use to the conviences of this clock (time, temp - inside and outside) that I set out to find another one. Dealing with Amazon.Com is always a good experience. The clock was shipped immediately and delivered quickly. The Oregon Scientific Projection Clock is the only projection clock I would ever want to own. It is easy to use and always dependable.
Solid clock - our first one served us well for 5 years April 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this clock about 5 years ago and we liked it because: soft red light is bright enough to see on the wall but not too bright as to be obnoxious. The time and temperature both show up so you know how cold or warm it is in the morning without having to open a window, check the computer or turn on the news. The display rotates so it works against whatever ceiling or wall that you want to view it on; the weather sensor is small and needs a new battery maybe every 18 months, not too bad at all. We don't mount the sensor, we simply put on a window sill, on a north window (away from sun for greater accuracy) and it sits between the window and the screen....wet weather does not harm it. We are buying a new one now because the projector stopped working. We think it is because the clock got knocked off the table one too many times! Good product (and yes - keeps good time!)
Very please with this unit!!! April 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had a previous model by another manufacture that has been discontinued. This model works as good or better so far as my former model. Very good projection on the ceiling and within 2 degrees of my other thermometers. Over all I am very pleased with this unit. Time will tell about how well it is made and if it continues to be accurate . As of this time I will have to rate 5 stars because it performs as advertised!
Misleading Picture and Description! April 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Know that the so called 'back-lighting' only stays on for 5 seconds, and then only when you hit the snooze button. So, you can barely see the clock, even in a well-lit room. The picture shows what it looks like with the back lighting on, not what it looks like most of the time. The projected time is only bright enough to be seen at night; however, even that is just barely true. I'm most upset about the backlighting. If I could, I would keep the backlight on all the time.
