 I got my money's worth! August 15, 2008
I bought two of these because the price was great. They are sturdy and very versatile and practical. I use the small one as a foot stool. It is the right heighth, but it would be nice if it was a little wider. The large one is a great tray table. I haven't stored anything in them yet, but they look perfect for storing throws or pillows or magazines in the future. There are only two things that are disappointing...they had a strong chemical smell and had to get aired out for several days before being able to use indoors. The second thing is that they are made in China. I am trying to stay away from those products, personally.

The Ottomans arrived as scheduled. They were a little smelly and had to be aired out for a few days in my garage. After doing so, they were perfect! Well worth the price! GREAT VALUE!!!!

This is truly a really nice set of ottomans. The largest one I am using as a table in our living room, the smaller one I am using as a table in my bedroom. There was a little odor as reported by others, but really not much and it was gone after removing the plastic from shipping and airing it out for a while. The stitching detail is really nice and not seen in anything else but high end and high price items I have seen elsewhere. Absolutely nothing wrong with this set. Order with confidence.

because I didn't and regretted it. I was hoping that everyone who commented on the smell was exaggerating a bit. They weren't. I left it outside in the direct sun all day and the smell was just as strong. But then I started thinking I shouldn't have to leave furniture outside first in order to bring it into the house. Also, the greasy feel that other people complained about held true. I was afraid to rest my feet on it not knowing what chemicals were used...and I certainly wasn't going to have my 7 month old nephew playing around it. Like I said, pay attention to the bad reviews.

It has been almost one month. so far so good, other than the initial smell.
